Once again the Defence Attachés’ Hockey team, a.k.a. the Lameducks, girded their loins for battle with the DFL hockey team at the University of Ottawa Arena. Although the DFL team was vastly outnumbered, it was a closely contested match, the score being 4-4 at the end of regulation time. The match was decided in an exciting shoot-out that saw the Australian High Commissioner streak in on net in an attempt to win the match for the Lameducks. Due to some disorganization at the end of the match, I believe, but cannot confirm, that the Lameducks emerged victorious.
