Beechwood Cemetery had its’ annual Candlelight Service on Sunday, 09 Dec 2012, followed by the turning on of the Christmas lights on the gazebo and trees. Several hundred people attended a multi-denominational service and Christmas carols sung by a choir. After the lights were turned on, attendees were invited to place ornaments on the big Christmas tree in memory of loved ones.
It was an interesting shoot having to deal with shutter speeds from 1/160 sec. to 8 seconds, ISOs from 100 to 3200, flash and no-flash, and flash from full power to 1/128th power. Colour temperatures varied depending on using ambient light to flash to a mixture so you had to know your camera to get your picture. The link below shows all the photos from the event.
